The Girl had her last day of show and tell.

She and The Dad made a bird feeder from a water bottle and two plastic spoons. pretty nifty, eh?


She let each of her friends pour some bird seed into the bird feeder. We have yet to hang it on one of the trees at school but I'm hoping to be able to do so this week.


After circle and show and tell, there's snack. There are usually 5 workday parents on the yard and each bring a snack. We get our snack assignments at the beginning of the year. (grain, protein, fruit, veggie & extra). On this day, we had: blueberries, couscous with carrots, carrots, veggie dogs, flax seed chips. yum! There is a deep love for blueberries so fruit parents know to bring that by the ton.


After snack we had a storyteller come over. The kids sat in place for about 20 minutes. HUGE for wiggly ones. He's so captivating. The kids love him. I'll place a link to his site when I find it.

Later that afternoon, The Girl and The Boy had their first swim class.
