* 3 loads of laundry
and folded too (just not yet put away, The Husband says he'll do that)
* called in some take-out
(we've called it research, we're trying to figure out where to order the Filipino food for Little
Man's party)
* vegged out on the couch for all of 20 minutes (watched Dancing with the Stars with Little Man)
* packed their lunch for school
* watched the Two Noisemakers dance around the dining room
(they were our entertainment after dinner)
* read Thomas and Friends (over and over) to Little Man
if we did have Internet, we would have done all of the above plus some blogging and picture uploading.
Today The Girl had a play date. She went home with a friend of hers and they had a wonderful time at the park and then playing dress up at her friend's house. You know, 6 months ago, I never would have just let her go in someone else's car much less to someone else's house without us. It's the community we belong to now. It's so much of the "it takes a village to raise a child" mentality and the very cooperative nature of the families that makes me trust her safety in their arms. It's a very liberating feeling.
I think it's also good that The Girl gets a chance to hang out with her friends without us. She's really good with them, but she comes home and is a grouch monster. I have yet to figure that one out.
Luckily we have a breakfast planned with The Girl's teacher during Spring Break and maybe we'll be able to figure out what to do and how to deal with her and give her tools to deal with us, because lord only knows that I can be hard to handle (ask the Husband and he'll verify that!).

This is the Girl before their winter play.

At school She likes to find worms and swing on the swings.

He likes the Trains and He loves to paint (it usually ends up all over himself).

They still like cuddling together.
