Little Man's Party

We had so much fun yesterday! It was the perfect day for a picnic with friends and family. There was enough space for the kids to run around, tons of food and an endless supply of great conversations.

I've got to hand it to that husband of mine. He was up late the night before cleaning the house and up early loading the cars, doing some more cleaning and was off early to make 3 stops for food & ice. He even went back and forth from the car to our very far away picnic site loading and unloading the food. Without a bit of complaint at all, he did all that, and still was a wonderful host.

My job was to get the cake, a birthday gift for The Girl's friend (we went to a second party after Little Man's) and get to the site early to reserve some extra tables and have some alone time with The Girl. (I did get the easy end of this deal)

The Husband went to Porto's and infiltrated the madness to get 50 cheese rolls (yes, 50), a platter of sandwiches, 2 boxes of coffee in a box & a thomas the train pinata. Then he went to Smart & Final for ice, coffee creamer, a veggie platter and chip bowls. Then off to Little Ongpin to get the Filipino food.

Yes, we were busy indeed but we all had a great time!

This is us with Miles after Little Man blew out the candles of his chocolate and strawberry Thomas cake. (yes, all three are sucking on lollipops they got from the candy and toy filled pinata.) --->talk about a sugar rush.

They did spend the whole day running around and playing on trains.

It was a great day, indeed!

I'll have pictures to come...I have to sort through hundreds and hundreds of them.
