ready for today

Yesterday, The Husband came home in time for dinner (which he picked up for us) after a long day away. He even put the two to bed in record time after a vist from Je and Justin.

This morning I woke up to a "Mommy wake up, it's a brand new day!" from The Little Man. Soon the Girl came in and crept over to me. She knew my back had been hurting and she wanted to move slowly around me. (it's much better today) After a cuddle and kiss from The Girl, she said she had fixed her bed and was going to get dressed for school.

And off we were....

We dropped off The Girl in record time. We had breakfast and a bit of snack shopping at Whole Foods. Then we were off to a quick pick up from one of The Husband's clients. Then were were back home. We had two huge board that needed to be dropped off for a Carnival that The Girl's school is hosting. Now we're back home resting before we need to go back to The Girl's school for a disaster prep workshop & a marathon play date with The Girl's friend.

It's been a good day so far and I'm sure the afternoon will be just as if not even more amazing.

Tomorrow we have a first communion to go to and then an afternoon of hanging out with friends we haven't seen in what feels like forever. Sunday we have two birthday parties.

This will be one of those busy weeekend but we're used to them.

The orchids are all blooming in the back so I think I'll be doing more shots of the orchids & kids for those Mother's Day cards.
