Spring Cleaning has officially begun

The Husband and I started doing some re-arranging last night and I haven't been able to stop. The living room is pretty set. We've moved things around so there's a little art nook and ready area where our dvds used to live (we've had to put those into storage, who has time for tv anyway...much less time to sit and watch a whole movie?)

Little Man has his train area and a wide open living room to play in. The tent is down, folks. Yay! I think that the big monster, aka the tent, was messing with my chi. Now that it's out and there's room to walk, i'm feeling much better. The kids weren't too bummed that it had to go. I did find The Girl's Gymboree tunnel so that's been a fun addition to the living room.

This morning, i'm working on the office. It's clearing up.

We have so much stuff! i need to get rid of it, seriously. So i'm working on purging then organizing. it'll be chaotic for a bit but it'll be worth it in the end.

after the downstairs is completed (there's still the kitchen, living room and pool room) then i'm heading upstairs to make way for The Girl and The Boy's bunk bed. Yes, we're gettin' them a bunk bed! (The funny thing is that 3 other kids from the girl's school have the same bed we're eyeing----great minds, i tell ya!)

we're going to re-arrange their room to make it very kid friendly.....a chalkboard wall, a reading nook, a hideaway spot and maybe an area for a stage/puppet show (these two have the funniest plays and silliest dances!).

oh, The Boy's invitations have been emailed! yay! make sure to RSVP (esp if you have kids - we need to make sure we have enough favors/stuff for them) oh and also, food! You know you're in for a food fest when we throw parties. We just need to make sure we have enough so you won't have to resort to buying a junk filled hotdog from the stand. so RSVP people. Yes, even family members!

ok back to two more loads of laundry ( i did 6 yesterday so after these two, i'm good for the week!) and to playing trains with the Little Man.

oh the Husband had a meeting this morning and the Girl's at school and the house is QUIET. Little Man is choo-chooing in the living room. I kinda like this. (it's not like the husband is loud but it's nice to have some alone time with the boy)
