Saturday at the Park

This morning we went to a nearby park to celebrate The Girls' preschool friend's Birthday. The Big 5. Yes sir, all the fingers in one hand. Remember those fun days of frolic? When we didn't have bills to pay or laundry to do?

The park was just the right size for everyone! There was a marionette show, dinosaur crafts, lots of running space, a creek to walk in (it was a dry one), and a trail to tyke "hike" through. So much fun!

You know, the more we hang out with the friends and family from The Girl's school, the more grateful I am to be a part of the community. It's just a good group of people. They are the "no drama, we're just out to have a good time" kind of folk. That we LOVE because we're out to have a good time as well. We're happy that we're a part of a loving community.

I hope we get this lucky next year when The Girl moves on to kindergarten. yikes!

a few party pictures (because what's a post without pictures for this mamarazzi?)

Then, we got back home and I went off to a knitting class! Working on my first scarf and it's lookin' pretty good, pretty darn good I must say!
