The Husband

is one amazing fellow.

I was POOPED today after my workday. There's something about Thursdays. I came home feeling oh so tired but Little Man wasn't. So we went out front and blew some bubbles. Got back upstairs and finally got him to nap.

(The Husband does come at school around 12:15 to take care of The Little Man so I can finish cleaning up my area...This is BEYOND helpful..it's downright a sanity saver)

So, I left the napping boy with the dad and was off to get The Girl.

I've signed her up for dance class on Saturday (there's a bunch of her school friends that will be there as well) and we needed to get her new tap shoes. So, off we were shopping. I love having a daughter that loves to go shopping with me :)

When we got back, my legs felt numb and my back ached. Luckily, the Noisemakers were quiet (had to turn on that sprout TV). That very amazing Husband went to get their sippy cups of milk and cook the Girl some eggs (upon her request). Soon, the two were downstairs and at around 8 pm I woke up to the smell of sweet goodies being cooked in on the grill by The Husband.

After dinner I had to do some invoicing (mama's got to get paid) and when I came back down the two were in the tent (we have a tent situated in the middle of our living room) drinking their sippy cups ready for bed. The Husband (who lost 4 hours of work due to my nap) went back up and is working right now.

I cuddled for a bit, watched Grey's Anatomy and was lovingly sandwiched by two very tired and very asleep kiddos.

Oh and while I was napping, they turned their tent into a spaceship. The Husband made them a steering wheel and a navigational star chart. I heard the Boy talking about space commander and mission control. Yes folks, he's only 2.

The Girl is a pro Wii player. The Husband got the Tiger Woods game and the Girl can make a hole in one over and over again. Yay for that hand-eye coordination.

So, we have a fun filled Adventure Day planned for tomorrow. I can't wait. The flash cards are cleared. The batteries are charged. I just need to get their clothes all set and we'll be good to go for tomorrow.
