i am not a fan of things that smell badly - including diapers
little man: mommy, i pooped, change my diaper
me: go ask you daddy
little man: no you do it
me: please ask daddy
little man: ok
walks off to find the Daddy
little man: daddy change my diaper. mommy no like changing diapers. they're stinky.
(repeat 3 times)
ruben and i had a deal. i handle the top half and he handles the bottom half. i breastfed for a bit over a year and he did almost all (but a handful) of diaper changes. now that the man is two (yes, we'll work on potty training in the summer) ruben has still been doing most of the diaper changes - especially the gross ones.
do i know i'm a lucky gal, you bet'cha!
