blah

I've been feeling a bit under the weather since yesterday
this morning, little man woke up at 4:12 am and asked for noodles and milk
the Daddy was off playing golf so it was me alone to see that little man's needs be met

so i told him, that it was too early to have breakfast, the sun was not up, go back to bed.

then he said, "change my diaper please, it's wet."

so i did that

i told him to go to the fridge (yes we have one in our bedroom) and get his milk
he said, "no i want to, i want you to do."

to which i dozed back to sleep only to be reminded 10 minutes later.
we did this until 5:55 am - he dozed in and out too

so i took him to Ruben's office and went downstairs to get milk (one for each in case she woke up and needed milk too), a pack of shredded cheese and Hawaiian bread.

i came back up and he was sleeping on the futon - after much internal explicative - i am not a morning person obviously- he did wake up when i sat next to him and drank his milk.

then, before 7 AM the girl woke up, went downstairs and nuked herself a bowl of oatmeal - poured the milk and stirred it, luckily with the help of Lolo. she came back up at 7:30 am and snuggled up next to me.

she said, "it's ok mommy you can sleep again, i know your sick."
so i did what any loving mom would do
i gave her a hug and turned on the food network - she enjoys that more than the Disney channel

and dozed off again

little man happily slept until 10 am
the Dad came in at 11 am

i am officially ready for bed now.

luckily they are all in the living room hanging out

the ironic thing, was that Ruben and i had a conversation, yesterday that we were so NOT going to have any more kids because we enjoyed sleeping through the night. those midnight, two am, four am, six am feedings were OVER.
blah! bit us in the butt.
little man had not woken up in the middle of the night for so long (close to a year now) and the girl had been sleeping through the night since 8 WEEKS. so this morning was really a struggle for me. the non-wake-up-at-the-butt-crack-of-the-day-to-play-golf person.
