Lara's Baby Shower

This Saturday, the Girl and I went to a "Ladies Only" Baby Shower.

She was SO excited to go to the party. She reveled in the fact that both our names were on the invitation. She asked everday for a week if that day was the day for the party. She knew that she'd wear her fancy pink sparkly shoes from Aunt Lara. (she LOVES these shoes. she got them for Christmas from Aunt Lara and only wears them inside the house - she does not want them to get dirty and she wants to save them for Aunt Lara's baby)

so, we went to the tea party. she had 3 (yes three) scones - made by Jenny. had a sip of my vanilla chai tea (wasn't too into it) but she did have some watermelon juice in her own tea cup. she tried the quiche (wasn't too into that either--it was all about the yummy scone). but she did LOVE the cupcakes (made by jenny as well).

after we all ate and sat to chat, she patiently drew pictures on her notepad and pen. She sat and waited.

during the present opening time, she took a few pictures (i'm sure you'll be able to guess which ones those were on the album i've attached).

after the party, we walked outside, enjoyed the view and the warm sun.

she even had her own party favor.

we had a lovely day!

while we were enjoying our girl time, R had little man and the boys and took all four out for pizza.

it was a wonderful weekend in SB- but then again, they usually are :)
