a quickie before bed

no, not that kind (oh maybe later)
but seriously... a quick post before i crash.

The Girl graduated from preschool today. It was an amazing day full of fun, friendship, love and all things garden. ;)

we had an ice cream party after the ceremony/potluck. it was nice and intimate. just the grad families. we've all become so close. so close, that we're much more like family than just plain 'ole friends.





before the ceremony there were many curious little ones (we wanted the obstacle course to be a surprise so we covered the gates and made the driveway a holding area/face painting/chalk drawing area.

The Girl with her teachers. Mona read a poem with a stanza for each child and Andrea gave them all their graduation medallion. (you weren't thinking mortar board and tassel were you? nah! these are just wee ones. they can do all that pomp and circumstance later on.)

oh what fun! it was a SUPER day!



my only regret: Team M4 didn't get a picture together. we were so busy behind the camera that we didn't get a chance to ask someone to take a picture of us. maybe next time.
