two tops
and a new pair of shoes for her
and two Thomas shirts for him
and now I'm home listening to the quiet purr of Little Man as he sleeps and the tick-tocking of the clock.
The husband took the boys and two friends to see Pirates while Grandma & Grandpa took The Girl to a party.
I have to drive almost 100 miles for this kind of quiet, crazy ain't it?
The Girl's 'graduating' preschool at the end of the month so Grandma got her early presents (the clothes and shoes) since she won't be able to make the 'ceremony.' It's on a weekday and she'll be at work.
Ma said that when she and The Girl got back into her car, The Girl said, "Thank you, Grandma for my new clothes, I really love it." Grandma said, "These are you presents for graduating preschool. Make sure you study hard and I will get you more clothes."
Here are the pics from lunch:

I try to have a bag of goodies to keep the kiddies occupied. Hence, the bag of trains. He only needs a couple and he's got a whole story and dialogue for the trains. It's quite charming and so very endearing. He's given each one a "storyline" and "personality."

She's wearing her new dress, DORA hat and black converse shoes....all compliments of Grandma. He thinks the cap to my camera is a pirate eye patch. Life with the two is far from ordinary.

He's a secret agent in training. He was running up and down the hallway with such glee. He would make sure to stop at each smooth section of the wall and stand with his back to it and peer down the hallway. Oh what fun it is to be 2.
