But on the home front, things are going well. Seeing Baby Danika reminded me of seeing The Girl for the very first time. She came in, all 8 lbs of her, after a 4 our labor with a full head of black hair and big pink cheeks.
It's amazing to see her baby pics since she's much more of a little girl than a baby. (Though she'll always be my baby) My pregnancy with her was easy as was the delivery. She came so fast that my OB didn't make it. And she's been such an easy and free spirited child as well. She's kind and observant. She's determined and smart (insert sassy sometimes). She's lots of fun to be around. We've lucked out with her.

it's like looking back in time when i compare The Dad's baby pictures with Little Man's
the brand new baby
the first time she was able to hold him. we left the hospital less than 24 hours after having gone for a check-up that led to the delivery (i was a few cm dialated and we had Little Man a few hours later). He was born at 4 pm and we came home 11 am the next day.
