my Tuesday morning

i didn't get to bed 'til 2 am. still not feeling too well but i had lots of work to catch up on. the girl woke up at 9:30 am (after having gone to bed at 8 pm) since it had rained the night before and it was still pretty cold and windy, we decided to have her stay at home. Much to the delight of baby brother who woke up at 6:30 am so we spent the morning, playing, drawing, writing books and cleaning up.

They built forts, negotiated who would build which part (the girl did most of the work while the little man destroyed it),

they fought about the destruction of the forts and on and on and i took pictures.

the two went outside to see the clouds and a loud airplane flew overhead and the girl quickly went back in to measure the wall (yes, it's a dark picture but i like it.)

also, we spent most of the morning waiting for the DirectTV guy to come and install the new dish.

As we waited, the skies cleared but it still remained a windy day.
but no matter, i had the two noisemakers to keep me on my toes :)
