i took the kids to the warf so that we could visit the ty warner sea center and take in the breathtaking coastal santa barbara views. as we were walking around the warf, maia just stood still and looked out into the ocean. she sat for a while and just remained still.
i hope that as she grows up, she will continue to stay still and take in beautiful views. i hope she will continue to find beauty in her surroundings. i wish she would always still little.
i'll be happy just knowing that she is happy.
i learn from her. she teached me to be still. to watch each wave come in. to gaze at the sky. to take in the beautiful views.
